Join me as I embrace and share truly authentic American country style by reclaiming the past...my family's past. Come along as I make my house a home on a $0 budget with reclaimed, repurposed, recycled and found treasures all out of my grandparent's old house, local junk shops and my parent's attic. And since we have to eat too, I'll sprinkle in some gardening, country recipes, and a whole lot of southern hospitality.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out here! I wanted to share this song that Luis and I did for my mom for Mother's Day. She wrote it years ago, and we wanted to surprise her with it. The photos are mostly of her mom.

I hope you all have a wonderful day:-)

  9. Hi Anita. How exciting you have a set of the Currier and Ives dishes. Mine are different shades of blue too and I think it's because some pieces are older than others and some have been used more.
    Hope you've had a nice Mother's Day.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)
